As part of my work with SE Creative Studio, I have been working with BBC Radio 6 Music for over 5 years. Here are some of my recent highlights, including branding for 6 Music Festival and a national billboard campaign for 6 Music's Indie Forever.
BBC 6 Music Festival
The BBC Radio 6 Music Festival is the station's flagship event, held in Greater Manchester. It features the world premieres of brand-new live performances, debuts of new music, unique collaborations, and surprise guest appearances.
Since 2019, I’ve been the lead designer and art director for 6 Music Festival's digital brand and have been responsible for creating content like: Artist asset templates, Line-up posters and animations as well as promotional social posts.
6 Music Lyric Billboards
The BBC commissioned SE Creative Studio to create an OOH poster campaign for 6 Music’s Indie Forever. I was tasked with a series of Lyric posters celebrating artists from Sheffield, Cardiff, Glasgow and Manchester. With this in mind, I engineered a way of using the 6 Music expressions that captures the excitement and movement of the brand. I also made sure that the typography was both visually striking and fully legible - even at a distance.

Motion graphics for 6 Music
Here are a few of my favourite animations made for 6 Music. Above are lyric videos for Radiohead and Kate Bush, made to celebrate big album anniversaries with their fans.
